Refund Policy

The report is delivered the moment you pay for it, so this page says plainly when we give money back and when we do not.

Last updated September 4, 2026

The rule

We refund in full, on request within 30 days, if the report was not delivered, or was priced for the wrong delivery area, or could not be produced for your address at all.

Outside those cases we do not refund, because the report is the whole product and you have it. Stripe, as the seller of record, may reach a different answer under its own buyer rules; where it does, its answer stands.

If you cannot buy the plans we showed you

Some Texas addresses are served by an electric cooperative or a city utility and have no retail choice at all, and that is not always visible from a ZIP code. If we sell you a report for an address that cannot switch, that is a full refund — you were charged for advice that was never usable.

If a plan is gone by the time you act

Providers withdraw and reprice plans, sometimes within days, and we cannot prevent it. That is not a fault in the report: the report is a calculation as of the date printed on it, and it says so. Where the provider publishes one, each row links to the Electricity Facts Label so you can confirm the price still stands before you enroll.

How to ask

Write to support@wattmarshal.com from the address on the account, say which report and what went wrong, and we will answer. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method through Stripe, the seller of record, includes the sales tax you paid, and usually shows on your statement within five to ten business days.

Because Stripe is the seller of record, you can also ask Stripe directly about a purchase it processed, and Stripe may decide a refund request under its own buyer rules. If it does, that decision stands, whatever this page says.
